Our articulating ankle-foot orthosis provides control over the foot and ankle without total limitation of the ankle joint. We stock a variety of ankle joints to choose from so our practitioners can dial in the exact type and degree of articulation for their patient needs. Articulated AFOs will enhance patient balance and stability while limiting atrophy in patients that have some range of motion. However, articulation may not provide the required stability needed for patients with severe muscle weakness or instability.
