Tom has been in the Orthotics & Prosthetics manufacturing industry for over 35 years. He started with O&P Systems who eventually became Boston Brace International. Right from the beginning, Tom really enjoyed the O&P field and was determined to soak up as much knowledge as he could. His persistence and hard work continued to pay offs he worked his way up the ladder eventually becoming their Director of Manufacturing. In 2015 after 20 years with BBI, the opportunity arose for him to become a partner at Pro-Tech Orthopedics. Tom feels extremely fortunate to have learned so much from so many over the years, he feels this was a big part of what allowed him to eventually become the sole owner of Pro-Tech in 2017.
Tom and his team are dedicated to giving their unwavering commitment of providing the best product and service they can to all of their customers. Tom takes huge pride in being a part of the healthcare industry and is honored to have the opportunity from his customers to be a part of their patient's treatment team. His greatest joy is being part of helping to improve the quality of life for people all over the world wearing the carefully crafted products made in our facility. When Tom is not at the lab assessing x-rays and crafting solutions for patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling and playing guitar. He is a huge fan of all sports but if you ask him, nothing is better than dressing up in his Sunday best, painting his face and directing crowd chants for his New England Patriots from his seats in Foxboro.
Matt completed the Pedorthic program at Oklahoma State Technical College and was certified by ABC in 2006. He spent the first 10 years of his career servicing the Southern Maine and eastern New Hampshire region in patient care. He enjoyed the fulfillment of helping patients overcome the pain and inability to walk by designing, manufacturing, and fitting custom lower extremity orthotics. During this time, he attended as many continuing education classes as he could and enjoyed the collaboration with other practitioners. In 2016, the opportunity was presented for him to join Pine Tree Orthopedic Lab and focus on business development for their central fabrication. Leaving patient care was difficult at first, but the relationships that grew from working with practitioners around the country quickly filled that void.
Matt joined Pro-Tech Orthopedics in August of 2023 with the goal of expanding his knowledge and experience beyond lower extremity. With Matt's extensive manufacturing background in lower extremity orthotics coupled with the understanding of how patient care works, we were excited to have the opportunity for him to join our team. When Matt is not out flying around the country to work with our customers, he enjoys playing golf, spending time on the lake with his family and training to fulfill his aspirations of becoming a jet bike stunt man.
